On November 27, 2015 Plenary Session of the Economic and Social Council unanimously adopted its own-initiative opinion on "Corporate Social Responsibility - achievements and challenges". With this opinion, the ESC builds his views and positions on the topic expressed in several acts adopted over the years.Rapporteurs for the opinion Vesselin Mitov, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Social Policy of the ESC and Milena Angelova, a member of the same committee, presented the main points of the document. They stressed the contribution of the experts for its quality and completeness.

Rapporteurs also noted that all constructive suggestions made during the consultation on the draft opinion by the representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, academia and other organizations are reflected in the proposed version of the document.

Once adopted opinion ESC members discussed the possibility to organize a public discussion on which to invite all interested parties.
