The President of the Economic and Social Council (ESC) prof. Lalko Dulevski participates in the fifth edition of European Forum on Social Entrepreneurship which starts today, 31st of March 2016, and it will continue until 3rd of April. Georgios Dassis, President of the European Economic and Social Committee, arrived in Bulgaria especially for the event in Plovdiv and together with Ivaylo Kalfin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and Social Policy opened the European Fair of Social Economy.
ESC traditionally participates in the Forum, which aims to promote social entrepreneurship in Bulgaria and encourage the employment of people with disabilities. The fair brings together nationally representative organisations of and for people with disabilities, social enterprises and cooperatives, associations, bodies providing social services. Organizers of the event are the European Commission, the European confederation of industrial and service cooperatives (CECOP), Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the Agency for People with Disabilities.
A conference on "Social Entrepreneurship - Innovative Model for Social Inclusion and Employment" has been held within the forum and during this event prof. Dulevski presented the positions expressed in the ESC acts devoted on the topic.
