THE PRESIDENT OF THE PARLIAMENT AND EUROPEAN COMMISSIONERS WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE FIRST PLENARY SESSION OF THE NEW ESC
The President of the Economic and Social Council (ESC) Zornitsa Roussinova will open the first Plenary Session of the newly formed Economic and Social Council, which will take place remotely on 25 January 2021 at 13:30 a.m. (Bulgarian time).
The inaugural session of the new ESC mandate will elect Vice-Presidents of the ESC and will discuss priorities in the activity of the ESC.
Representatives of the state institutions and the National Assembly are invited. The official opening will be attended by the President of the National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva, the EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel and EU Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights Nikolas Schmit and Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev.
