Dimitar Dimitrov is Executive Director of the Chamber of Road Carriers in Bulgaria.
Graduated in Software and Information Technology, he subsequently continued his education as a Bachelor in Business Economics and Master in Insurance and Social Business. He obtained numerous postgraduate qualifications in the fields of investment, artificial intelligence and transport. He has experience in both public administration and the private sector.
In 2017, he took the helm of KAPB, one of the largest transport organizations in the country, which unites hundreds of small, medium and large Bulgarian and foreign transport companies in both heavy and bus transport. Dimitrov regularly participates as an expert in various international, bilateral and interagency groups that aim to improve transport connectivity, create new green working models, build transport policies based on the principles of understanding and cooperation between countries.
His multifaceted interests in different areas of economic life allow him to create, build on and change social relations in a way that leads to lasting and meaningful results.
He has been a member of the Economic and Social Council since 2024.
