The President of the Economic and Social Council Zornitsa Rusinova congratulated the management and students of the UNWE and attended part of the celebrations for the 105th anniversary of the University in 2025. 35 years since the establishment of the Department of National and Regional Security and the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of International Economics and Politics were solemnly celebrated.
The events brought together representatives of various institutions and alumni of the university, former ministers of interior and foreign affairs, renowned experts in the field of security and international relations, as well as academics. Also present were personalities who have contributed immensely to the development of higher education, politics and economic processes in the country.
The chairman of ESC highlighted the fruitful cooperation between the council and the UNWE under a memorandum aimed at supporting students and joint research initiatives. The important role of alumni and faculty members of the UNWE ESC and external experts who work on the analyses and opinions of ESC, affecting the socio-economic life of the country, was also highlighted.
