The Economic and Social Council (ESC) issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of the annual “Festival of Worker-Owned Cooperatives and Social Enterprises,” organized by the National Union of Worker-Owned Cooperatives (NSTPC).
The ESC commends the efforts of the National Council of Trade Unions and Cooperatives (NSTPK) to promote the cooperative model, develop the social economy, and encourage social entrepreneurship in Bulgaria.
The festival serves as a platform for promoting best practices, showcasing the achievements of worker cooperatives and social enterprises, and raising public awareness of their role in creating sustainable jobs, social inclusion, and economic development.
The NSTPC actively contributes to the work of the ESC as a representative organization that consistently promotes the development of social dialogue and the formulation of policies in the public interest.
