Noncho Dimitrov has been a member of the Board of the Union for Economic Initiative (UIE) since 2022.

He is a lecturer at the UNWE and a member of the Department of National and Regional Security (since 2006), a member of the Academic Council of the UNWE in the period 2009 – 2019), since 2020 he is Deputy Dean for Quality and International Cooperation of the Faculty of Infrastructure Economics at the UNWE, Chairman of the Quality Assurance and Evaluation Commission (QAEC) at the Faculty of Infrastructure Economics at the UNWE since 2020, Member of the Expert Advisory Board to the Minister of Economy since 2020, Member of the Working Group for the Development of the Internal Security Fund Programme 2021-2027 at the Ministry of Interior since 2020, Chairman of the Association of Economists in Bulgaria since 2001, Vice-Chairman of the Association “Education, Technology and Security” since 2016, Member of the Association of Conflict Studies in Bulgaria since 2006, Member of the Association of Industrial Business Students in Bulgaria since 2002, Vice-Chairman of SP ,,Ekonomist” (until 2009). He has over 100 publications in English, Russian and Bulgarian.

He has been a member of the Economic and Social Council since 2023.
