Evgeny Ivanov is Executive Director and member of the Board of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIB).

She is a member of the European Economic and Social Committee.

He was Bulgaria’s Ambassador to the European Union in Brussels from 1993 to 1997. He was Third Secretary at the Bulgarian Mission to the United Nations in New York, Director at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Deputy National Coordinator of the PHARE Programme.

He has extensive professional experience as Director of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum, Secretary General of the Union of Employers in Bulgaria and Vice President of the International Chamber of Commerce.

He has been a member of the Economic and Social Council since 2016 and has been Vice-Chair of ESC since 2024.
