Zornitsa Rusinova is President of the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Bulgaria. Between 2012 and 2020 he was Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy in three governments and Minister of Labour and Social Policy in 2016-2017. She was responsible for labour market policies, social inclusion, labour law, European affairs and international cooperation, and for managing EU funds. She has held senior positions in the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the Ministry of State Administration and Administrative Reform. She has successfully managed international projects for the United States Agency for International Development, the United Nations Development Programme, and the Bulgarian-Swiss Cooperation Programme. Zornitsa Rusinova holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations from the UNWE, as well as a Master’s degree in Bulgarian Philology and English Philology from Sofia University “Kliment Ohridski”.
