Georgi Stoev is a member of the Board of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

He is Co-Chair of the Global Europe Committee of EuropeLatvi, Chairman of the Board of the Bulgaria-South Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Vice-Chair of the Bulgarian-Japanese Economic Council; member of the European Economic and Social Committee.

Economist, with postgraduate qualifications in Japan, Russia, UK and China, with a very broad professional experience, participation in projects of the Ministry of Transport and head of the audit team of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank on the Transit Highways Programme.

He has been a member of the Economic and Social Council since 2008.
