Veselin Mitov is the International Secretary of the Confederation of Labour “Podkrepa” (CT “Podkrepa”) and heads the European Policies and International Cooperation Department.

He holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics from St. Kliment Ohridski” and a Master’s degree in Foreign Trade from the Karl Marx Institute of Economics.

He is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Trade Union Confederation, participates in the sectoral social dialogue committees of the European Commission and is Vice-President of the Christian European Workers’ Centre. She is a member of the European Economic and Social Committee.

He has expertise in economics, social policy, industrial relations, European policies, vocational training.

He was a member of the Economic and Social Council in 2008 and chairs the Committee on Labour, Income, Living Standards and Industrial Relations at ESC.
