The President of the Economic and Social Council Zornitsa Rusinova presented the “Best Administration” 2024 awards to the University of National and World Economy in the category “Competence and Capacity”.
The Chairman of the Advisory Body expressed his gratitude to the UNWE because these awards restore the image of the Bulgarian administration as people who work for people.
“The administration is not just the person, it is the first stop that can help a person when there is a problem,” said Zornitsa Rusinova.
The “Competence and Capacity” prize was awarded to the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Statistical Institute, the Lovech Regional Administration and Gabrovo Municipality.
Five ministries, one state agency, four regional administrations and two municipalities were awarded recognition in the four categories for best administration in 2024. In honour of the 105th anniversary of UNWE this year, they were presented at a ceremony. The study, led by prof. Borislav Borisov has been done for several years by the Institute of Economics and Politics of the university.
