Ina Agafonova is the founder and chairman of the Board of the public benefit foundation “Via Pontica”, which is active in environmental protection with a focus on wetlands. The Foundation is the national NGO coordinator for the Ramsar Convention.

He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Expertise and Control and a Ph. Sofia – Master in International Economic Relations. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Russian Philology.

She has many years of experience in business management.

She is fluent in English, French and Russian.

Member of the Economic and Social Council since 2021 and Chair of the Committee on Sustainable Development, Agriculture, Environment and Regional Policies
