Tatyana Kmetova is the executive director of the Center for Women’s Research and Policy Foundation.

She graduated with a degree in Slavic Philology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Since 2005, she has been a member of the National Council on Gender Equality under the Council of Ministers. She served as a member of the Executive Board of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE)—a specialized agency of the European Commission; a representative of 31 NGOs from Central and Eastern Europe on the UN Women advisory body; and a member of NATO’s Advisory Panel on “Women, Peace, and Security.”

He has been a member of the Economic and Social Council since 2021.
