Prof. Dr. Teodor Dechev is Director of the Industrial Policies Directorate at AICB.
Since 2018 he is Executive Director of the Institute for Sustainable Economic Development at AICB.

He is a graduate of VIAS and holds a master’s degree in political science from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.

He was Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy in 1998-2001.
He teaches at the VUSI, NBU, VTU “Cyril and Methodius” and the UNWE.

Member of the Economic and Social Council from 2003 to 2006 and since 2024.
