Lyuboslav Kostov is an economist and Director of the Institute for Trade Union and Social Studies of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CPSU).
He holds a Master’s degree in Macroeconomics, a PhD in Political Economy and is a lecturer at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia.
He is a member of the Budget Policy Committee of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation (NCTC).
He is the author of a number of academic publications in the field of labour market, inequalities, fiscal policy and collective bargaining and of numerous analyses of a journalistic nature.
He has been a member of the Economic and Social Council since 2021.
